Home invaders ‘Didn’t deserve to get killed,’ say friends and family (VIDEO)
Two minors were killed after breaking into the home of an elderly widow living on in Sacramento, 14-year-old Michael Sambrano and his best friend, Steven Crider, 17.
The police have not identified the widow or her brother who was staying with her for safety following a break-in earlier this year, or who shot the suspected burglars after they broke into the widow’s home.
However, despite the seemingly-justified use of deadly force, friends and family of the teens say that they didn’t deserve their fate.
“They didn’t deserve to get killed,” said Sambrano’s sister Christina to CBS.
“I just don’t understand why they were shot multiple times and killed,” said Lisa Sambrano.
“They didn’t have to kill him,” said Misty Crider to Fox News.
Neighbors of the widow were less sympathetic to the teens. “This Easter, she was robbed, and so she had replaced her deadbolt locks with double locking deadbolts and they still got in after that,” said Celeste Gawehn, a friend of the widow, in an interview.
Another neighbor, David Keck, stood up for the brother and sister, “He was not an innocent bystander. I’m sorry the little boys or teenagers were killed, but if it’s my family, my family comes first.”
“Justice was served,” said, Robert Robinson, another local.
According to Crider’s mother, Tracy Webb, and his girlfriend, Ashleigh Davison, the teen had a troubled past. The boy was homeless and had a history with the department of Child Protective Services.

That person didnt deserve to be invaded by two worthless little punks neither. So I would say they got what they deserved.
