In an article where the Army Times talks about the roll-out of the M4A1 carbine long used by special operations forces to the rest of the military, the reporter attempts to explain “burst fire.”
An M4 in burst mode fires about eight rounds per minute, or about one round every six seconds.
Eight whole rounds per minute?
