US blames Israel for failed Israel-PA talks: Report

Senior US officials have said the failure of the so-called peace talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority was largely due to Israel’s illegal settlement-building activities.
In an interview with the Israeli newspaper Ynet, anonymous members of the US negotiating team who were involved in US Secretary of State John Kerry’s efforts to resume the stalled negotiations said a big share of blame for the failure of talks goes to Tel Aviv.
“There are a lot of reasons for the peace effort’s failure, but people in Israel shouldn’t ignore the bitter truth – the primary sabotage came from the settlements,” said one of the officials …. http://www.presstv.ir
