US Government Policy and Actions Create Terrorist Threat to US Citizens Traveling Throughout the World

In case you missed this-I did- the State Department in early April updated what it called its “Worldwide Caution” alerting travelers of “the continuing threat of terrorist actions and violence against US citizens and interests throughout the world”.
Of course what Foggy Bottom doesn’t say-at least what I believe is closer to the truth-is why this has happened. It’s not hard to decipher though considering we swagger our way all over the world imposing American style “Manifest Destiny” as if it was the natural order of things-and if you heard or read Obama‘s address to the graduating class at West Point Wednesday with his “America must always lead on the world stage”I believe in American exceptionalism with every fiber of my being”the United States remains the one indispensable nation”” you know why such hubris and the lawless actions he and other president’s have undertaken is encountering such fierce resistance pretty much everywhere our executive sends in the troops including the thousand plus foreign military bases we have scattered all over the world much to the dismay of the indigenous populations who mostly resent the imposition of American troops in their communities; think Okinawa as a prime example.
But it’s not just Okinawa where American troops and I would venture to say Americans in general are unwelcome. It’s the entire Muslim world from Indonesia the Middle East and North Africa, even Britain and France with their large minority Muslim populations or for that matter any foreign destination; Americans are potential targets for revenge as “blowback” from our government’s policies and actions.
