The Denver Police Department released a video of law enforcement officers and other first responders training for an active shooter situation with mass casualties.
The scenario takes place at the old University Hospital site and includes an active shooter somewhere inside the building, along with role players with various injuries strewn about.
The training exercise was a way for Denver first responders to hone their skills to be more prepared to respond the real deal.
