DIY life-size ‘RoboCop’ ED-209 (VIDEO)

Props and costumes designer Shawn Thorsson created a handmade, life-size replica of the ED-209 robot from ‘RoboCop.’
Thorsson embarked on the project for the Maker Faire, and barely had enough time to finish it. In the video, he shows off some of the detailed touches he added to make sure the ED-209 looked as authentic as possible.
In the end, his project came out superbly well and the robot looks like it could start trying to “disarm and arrest” people at a moment’s notice.
