Popular among sport-shooters, freedom fighters and tyrants alike, the AKM, AK-47 and AK-74 rifles are legendary for their strength, reliability and prolificacy. While these are inarguably well-built weapons, they do have their shortcomings in accuracy and ergonomics. While improving the rifle’s accuracy will take tools and some mechanical knowledge, improving the ergonomics, in particular the time required to reload, can be mitigated with technique and training.
