A trucker in Ohio shocked hospital staff after coming back to life nearly an hour after he lost his pulse following a massive heart attack — but it’s what he claims to have seen during those tense moments that has him sure there’s an afterlife.

Brian Miller, 41, was opening the lid of a container when he knew something felt wrong — he immediately called 911 and told the operator, “I’m a truck driver and I think I’m having a heart attack.”

Sure enough, his main artery was completely blocked — causing what’s known as a “widow-maker” heart attack

He was rushed to a local hospital where doctors managed to revive him and clear the blockage, but after regaining consciousness and feeling the pain dissipate, he developed ventricular fibrillation, when the heart starts quivering wildly and is unable to pump blood.

“He had no heart rate, he had no blood pressure, he had no pulse,” said ICU nurse Emily Bishop. “I mean think about that.”

Doctor’s performed “strong, hard, fast CPR” and shocked Miller four times to try to revive him, but had no luck.

It was during that time that Miller said he slipped away into a celestial world, “The only thing I remember I started seeing the light, and started walking toward the light.”

He described walking down a flower-lined path into white light — until he came upon his step mother, who had died recently, “She was the most beautiful thing when I seen her, it was like the first day I met her, (she) looked so happy.”

  • The afterlife is real. There is a judgement for the life u live. Don’t waste it.

  • Yeah dont waste it. Repent! Heaven is at hand

  • Man

yeah when you brain lack oxygen, you brain gets crazy. so yeah….

    • If an afterlife experience ever happens to you, it could be you would see the afterlife differently.

Once a person knows for sure the afterlife exist.

      A person can’t unknow.

But, it is understandable a person, that has never seen the afterlife, would be skeptical.

      I was skeptical one time.

how come that everyone from different religions experience a different kind of version of an afterlife

also how can say the experience is real when you brain is dying and doped up on meds. yeah that is very reliable.

not to mention that they never seem to recall anything significant from the room of what they did precisely. there is a hospital that has a message on the rooftop but all those who have an experience, never can recollect the sign

A dream, hallucination perhaps? Tired sophistry with no merit nor evidence. Medical and clinical explanations abound for this type of cerebral confusion. There is no “here” here! Get over it.

  • Many afterlife experiences have been recounted by people who were clinically brain dead for up to five days. In these conditions no brain activity is possible at all – no dreams, no hallucinations, nothing. I am entirely convinced of the afterlife, having grown up with no religion, sceptical parents and in a secular society. From a scientific standpoint consciousness cannot be an emergent property of the dance of brain cells. It is the other way around: consciousness gives rise to the illusion of solid mater including the brain, the world and everything in it. Science, not religion, can reveal the world of spirit.

  • oh there is a afterlife it was proving to me a long time ago .
