Podcasting 101: Using Spreaker in WordPress

However, I have been an active member of the Spreaker community for over a year and I wouldn’t think twice about recommending it to anybody and everybody for tons of reasons that, rather than go into too much details – considering I’m NOT a paid endorser – really should just be experienced for yourself!

From there just follow the simple Instructions on getting started!

Assuming you can survive the basics of actually RECORDING * a show, uploading it to Spreaker is a snap!

* Hint: Download and use Audacity if you have no audio recording/editing software that you already use and/or are familiar with

Now, as for Spreaker’s use HERE on a WordPress based site…

Okay, so you’ve recorded a show on Spreaker… now what?

Spreaker and WordPress play together beautifully and easily!

In fact there’s even a simple “shortcode” you can copy (from your Spreaker episode/show) and paste into a page, post, even a “widget”

When you insert the short-code in WordPress, it will look something like this:

On The “Back End”

(inside brackets)

You can insert your show on a new or existing post but it would be BEST to make a unique post for each unique episode!

Make sure your Post Title is the name of your show/episode/date, etc.

Whether or not you include anything other than just the player (the shortcode thing) make sure you attach a featured image! So that (to the internet world) it will look something like this:

Don’t forget to TAG it like crazy!

For example, the tags from my show (in this case, Ruckus Room #004) would look something like this:

2nd amendment, Bill Cooper, car repair, comedy,conspiracy theory, communism, FPS Russia, Freemasons, gun control, Illuminati, Jesuits, Pope Francis, prepping, radio, reality, religion, secret societies, Zionism

Click “Publish” and the easy part is done – now you just have go spread the “Sharing” love and get the word out on the streets!
