Psalm 118:1 Oh, give thanks to the Lord for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
St. Maria Faustina Kowalski received visions and locutions from the Lord during the time between WWI and WWII from 1931-1938. She recorded her visions in a series of notebooks that she called her Diaries. This particular time period in human history was characterized by brutality, cruelty, and the systematic killing and death of opposing armies and nations. Today, we find ourselves in very similar straits. Prayer seems to be our only hope. How do we personally fight the enemies of darkness when our own governments and elected leaders are the bad guys? We have been told that prayer is a defence against the principalities of darkness, but I contend that prayer is an offensive force to defeat the armies of Satan.
Prayer is something that we can do personally in our own homes and teach to our children. When we are faced with outright evil and uncertainty, we are called to turn to Jesus and put our hope and trust in Him. The Divine Mercy Chaplet is a powerful prayer tool to triumph over evil.
The purpose of the Divine Mercy Devotion is to turn our hearts to the light of Christ and pray for mercy for the whole world. The Divine Mercy Chaplet is prayed on ordinary rosary beads. ”Prayerful recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet lifts our hearts to God, through the merits of Christ’s passion and death, that our broken world may come to know His peace and love.” http://www.gla.ac.uk/services/catholicchaplaincy/divinemercy/trust/theroleofthedivinemercydevotioninthefutureofthecatholicchurch/
The Divine Mercy Chaplet and the Rosary are spiritual ammo against an out-of-control world spinning to the tune of Lucifer. We need God’s help. We cannot fight these battles against the rulers of darkness. They are our own elected leaders. Prayer is our only option.

Another lovely post from Miriam who also has a lovely name.
Dear Louis,
Many thanks. You are my most favorite commenter.
Miriams musings and louis
I have a great idea for you — and it is a good one–
I know you both really like repeating the rosery over and over to your favorite god
Get a recording of the chant and you can play it hundreds of times each day, just think how that will make your god smile. actually you can do this in each room of your house at the same time just think how powerful that will be. You can be doing other things and this powerful chant can still be repeated may be a thousand times a day in your own home. wow your gods will be delirious.
you do not have to thank me for the ideal it is my free gift to you. pass it around to all your catholic friends.
Dear Truthseeker,
Your idea is a very good one and one that has already been done. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy can be found on CD. You can even play it in your car! By the way, God is spelled with a capital “G.” I have always found it wise to be respectful of everyone’s faith system.
Blessings!

“I have always found it wise to be respectful of everyone’s faith system.”
Was Elijah respectful to the prophets of Ba’al?
Was Moses respectful to worship of the golden Apis idol?
Was Gideon respectful to the altars of Ba’al?
Moreover, can you show even one single verse from Scripture wherein the Almighty instructs us that anyone should be respectful to some other faith?
TRUTHSEEKER – I’d like to thank you for your great idea by recommending a school that teaches semi-literate people how to spell and punctuate and write proper sentences.
I’d also like to recommend a bank that can’t default or become insolvent. It’s located in Heaven. Each time a prayer is devoutly prayed, it gets stored in heaven for the last day, when it becomes redeemable with huge interest.
It’s a wonderful program –kind of like a super Christmas club — much better than anything offered by the Federal Reserve. Plus it’s free.
Your stories are always very enlightening. Keep up the spiffy work!
Thank you, Radical Rose!
I have enjoyed reading your very enlightening articles. You have your own unique style.
Blessings!
