Latino entertainment personalities such as Thalia, Lucero and Adamari Lopez have joined the campaign against school bullying known as #ElBullyingNOEsUnJuego (“Bullying is NOT a game”).
Mexican singer Thalia published on Instagram a photo in which she is seen displaying a poster with the campaign’s slogan.
Other Latino artists have joined the initiative via Twitter and Instagram.
Thalia on Wednesday is in New York to participate in an event at the March of Dimes Foundation to emphasize among Latinas the importance of prenatal care.
Besides Thalia, singer Lucero and Puerto Rican actress Adamari Lopez have joined the initiative along with well-known personalities such as actors Daniel Arena, Jorge Poza and Kuno Becker, among others.
In addition, sports stars such as Mexican soccer player Miguel “El Piojo” Herrera, and boxers Saul “El Canelo” Alvarez and Julio Cesar Chavez have lent their support to the program.
The initiative is being promoted by Basta Mx, a citizens’ movement that arose in Mexico with the support of the National Crime Prevention Center.
