The CIA Just Sent Out Its First Tweet
To what amounts to digital uproarious applause on the social media site, the CIA — one of the American government’s principle secretive intelligence gathering agencies — has officially sent out its first Tweet:
We can neither confirm nor deny that this is our first tweet.

The new account already has 187,000 followers and its description reads, “We are the Nation’s first line of defense. We accomplish what others cannot accomplish and go where others cannot go.”
With nearly 140,000 shares and over 77,500 favorites (at the time of writing this), people apparently loved this Tweet in droves:
