Congressional candidate Estakio Beltran, 31, shoots an elephant piñata before riding off towards Congress on a literal donkey in his new Democratic campaign ad.
“They call me a long shot. They say I can’t win in this district. But what happens to an elephant that stands around doing nothing for too long?” Beltran asks before pulling the trigger.
Beltran, who has previously worked for both Democratic. Sen. Maria Cantwell of Washington and Rep. Dennis Cardoza of California, wants to work for “those Americans who are hardworking and could just do so much more if we gave them a hand up instead of a hand down.”
