Prince Vega continues to speak his thoughts on controversial topics that may not sit right with people inside of his community. The musician is finally expressing his thoughts on race related issues that’s been highly debated for decades around the world. The use of the word “Nigga” has been described as a more ebonic way of saying “Nigger” when there is no meaning to the word “Nigga” in definition. Prince Vega recently spoke to Internet Hollywood and expressed his concerns on the subliminal programming that’s being carried out through the music industry for the purpose of brainwashing African Americans.
“The only people to blame for this is ourselves,” He admitted. “We live our lives through manufactured puppet musicians that earns sponsors and endorsements by downgrading woman and glorifying the destruction of our communities. They have no idea that most of the money their favorite rappers make is spent on the people they owe through the production process leading up to the publicized image they poorly portray. The group N.W.A made it alright for the slaves to embrace the idea of a “cool nigga” when in reality it looks like we are happy with the name our oppressors called us. Let a person walk to your mother and call her exactly what rappers are calling woman. I guarantee if you love your mother you’re going to have a problem with it.”
Prince Vega also went on to speak about how he felt about Caucasians using the word “Nigga” now that its so popular.
“People my age need to realize Nigga is not even a word,” He continued. “Nigga is nothing more than a ethnic slur purposely glorified by the modern industry to keep us captured in that slave mentality our ancestors was in. The difference is now they successfully made us comfortable with being called the word to the point we use it amongst each other. We should be happy whites are calling each other niggas now as-well. As soon us blacks stop taking offense to the word the power behind it will no longer exist. The word will be just like any other word with no meaning. That’s pretty much how I feel about that.”
