(Before It's News)

“A tough guy for a tough job”

Gubernatorial candidate Frank Riggs’ latest campaign ad juxtaposes a few seconds of shots of the 62-year-old former U.S. Congressman working out as it lists his numerous credentials qualifying him for Arizona’s top office.

Leave it to the leftist Arizona Republic newspaper to use the ad to ridicule Riggs, in a bit of tripe titled, “I’m too sexy for my shirt.”

Riggs, also an army vet, a former police officer and a deputy sheriff, begins the pitch with “Arizona needs a strong governor,” and tags his commercial with “Sure it’s a tough job, and I’m just the guy to do it.”

Speaking himself rather than using a paid voice-over announcer, he says, “Big changes take hard work. As governor I’ll protect public safety….Finally secure our border….I’ll fight federal overreach and the Obamatization of Arizona ….by repealing Common Core on Day One and stopping Medicaid Expansion. And I’ll fix the state budget and get our economy growing again.  Sure it’s a tough job….and I’m just the guy to do it.

The same newspaper went silent in 2009 when then-congressman Jeff Flake, in his 40’s at the time, took a solo vacation on a deserted Pacific island with only his tripod and camera to keep him company. He sent shirtless photos of himself to the immediate world and got a pass.

We covered the preening Flake, when he didn’t cover himself —-  and the local newspaper looked the other way. The egocentric Flake even sent his pics to the liberal Washington Post. His shirtless adventure was covered in a Reason magazine piece cleverly titled, Rep. Jeff Flake goes on island vacation, catches crabs, and he milked his beefcaking on in this televised interview.

Hypocritical double standards exist at the amnesty pushing Periódico de la República de Arizona (Arizona Republic). Republicrat Jeff Flake is solidly onboard with their leftwing agenda, so don’t look for objective reporting.
