Things are adding up rather quickly now.

Contrary to popular media spin, Police Chief Tom Jackson confirms that Officer Darren Wilson did see cigars in the hands of Mike Brown and did view him as a potential suspect in the previous strong-arm robbery when he approached for questioning.

(Saint Louis Dispatch) The officer who shot Ferguson teen Michael Brown stopped Brown and another teen because they were walking in the street, not because of a robbery a few minutes earlier, Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson said Friday afternoon.

Jackson said the officer was aware cigars had been taken in the robbery of a store nearby, but did not know when he encountered Brown and Dorian Johnson that they might be suspects. He stopped them because they were walking in the street, Jackson said.

But Jackson told the Post-Dispatch that the officer, Darren Wilson, saw cigars in Brown’s hand and realized he might be the robber.

  • You better go back and check the second press conference that the Police Chief gave at 3:30 pm in which he is now saying that Officer Wilson was unaware of the robbery and that he merely stopped Brown and Johnson because they were walking in the middle of the road and blocking traffic.

  • Even if that is true , there is no justification for shooting an unarmed man. Even if he is fleeing , you can not use deadly force on an unarmed suspect unless a capitol crime has been committed.
    CAN YOU SAY MURDER.

  • It’s sad the young man died.
    But LOOK at him.
LOOK at the pic posted here.
Does that say “I’m a nice guy?”
    “I’m not a gang-banger.”
“I just want to go home to my mom.”
    No it doesn’t’.
It says “The world OWES ME.”
I’ve known many people of color that had THAT chip on their shoulder.
And they’re SOOOO surprised when to world doesn’t agree with them.
    I’m white.
MY people were kept as slaves way longer than any black person in the U. S.
How long would I last in Egypt whining for money because my great to the umpteenth time granny was a slave?
Murder? We don’t know that and we never will.
    We weren’t there.
    BOTH SIDES LIE!!!
People get along with people or they don’t.
And in most cases I’ve seen in 40+ years, the people of one group have been taught NOT to get along with the other.
Thanks to Sharpton, Jackasson, and the ACLLU.
    Keep promoting your HATE.
That’s what keeps the dollars flowing in and the ignorant youth following you.
