(N.Morgan) In one of the most disturbing acts of police brutality out of St. Louis Missouri, Kajieme Powell was shot over 10 times, then handcuffed after he was already deceased. This shooting took place 4 miles away from where Mike Brown was gunned down by police. It sounds like a suicide by cop, however, why handcuff a dead man? The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department released cell phone footage Wednesday of the police shooting of Kajieme Powell, a 25-year-old black man killed on Tuesday in St. Louis, according to St. Louis Public Radio. A convenience store owner called 911 on Tuesday when he suspected Powell stole drinks and donuts from his shop, according to a recording of the call. Another woman called to report Powell was acting erratically and had a knife in his pocket. Two officers in a police SUV responded to the calls, the cell phone video shows. When the officers got out of their vehicle, Powell walked in their direction, yelling and telling them to shoot him already.

  • I agree, it does sound like overkill to me….

  • They have to cuff him, that’s what they’re programmed to do. they probably read him his Miranda rights as well, then probably charged him for littering, because he bled on the public street. Heaven forbid they might actually think for themselves, only some kind of fringe lunatic would say 2+2=4.

  • This is where you should use a taser. I see police using tasers on people that are no threat but here a taser would have knocked this guy down and ended this without a killing but police feel there justified in shooting for any reason and sometimes i think there just looking for a chance to shoot and possibly kill due to the fact it only takes one shot to kill someone. 10 shots, they wanted to make sure they killed him. So its MURDER. Once he was on the ground the threat was over
