Taofledermaus tested out the concept of loading shotgun shells with sections of pipe after seeing it on the Royal Nonesuch channel.
While it looks promising at full speed slo-mo tells a different story. It looks like the shot cup blows out and then causes the pipe to tumble as it leaves the muzzle, if it leaves the muzzle. File this one under “dangerous to user’s property.”
Still, I can’t help but wonder if pipe couldn’t be used as a component in DIY slugs, or as a modified buck and ball load.
Just not with any of my shotguns…
