(Before It's News)

Officially, the Apollo 15 lunar mission was the ninth manned mission in the United States’ Apollo program, and the fourth to land on the Moon. The mission began on July 26, 1971, and ended on August 7.

Did the Apollo 15 astronauts secretly pilot V-Shaped craft to the moon, as this official 1971 NASA patch would seem to suggest? If this logo design does not represent spacecraft flying over the lunar surface, then what exactly is this artwork supposed to depict?
