Yesterday a person named Jay Nixon had the audacity to state that everyone in Ferguson (save for his friends wearing badges) had to be inside come midnight. Apparently Nixon believes he has the right to control the lives of strangers he’s never met – he doesn’t.

While some abided by the decree – others did not.

Those who showed up dressed for a riot proceeded to threaten others present, kettle them, and fire smoke and tear gas to try to gain obedience. The aggressors then kidnapped seven folks.

As the smoke cleared a man, now in critical condition, was found shot. Those who subsist on extortion and claims of extra rights have put-forth that the person was not shot from someone else in the crowd, not by someone in their ranks. Certainly those folks haven’t earned respect and thus their statements should not be accepted at face value. Undoubtedly, the truth on that will emerge.
