Jerry Miculek gets all #CanAnyoneConfirm with this experiment to determine the effectiveness of foam and rubber ear plugs against cardboard compared to actual rubber bullets.
Let’s just say that if you’re gonna have to get hosed with crowd-control measures, getting shot with foam earplugs is the way to go. Not getting shot still trumps getting shot. You might breathe in some unspent powder, that’s just unpleasant.
