New Counterterrorism Units At Australian Airports

Australia’s prime minister has revealed that new counterterrorism units have been working at the nation’s two largest airports since last week and have already intercepted a person of interest.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott told Parliament on Wednesday that the units now working at Sydney and Melbourne Airports would soon be introduced to all Australian international airports to monitor the movements of travelers on security watch lists.
