NRA Women’s Tatiana Whitlock explains why having a weapon light attached to your home defense firearm is a good idea in “Using a Mounted Light for Home Defense.”
If something goes bump in the night and you have to investigate, you don’t want to be stumbling through the darkness. You can’t shoot what you can’t see, and Whitlock says having a weapon light will not only help you positively identify your target, but act as a force multiplier.
