OF COURSE THE IRS EMAILS ARE BACKED UP! DUH!
Wha?!
Now it’s come to light that the federal government, which is all about continuity of itself, actually backs up all of its emails?!?!?!
You mean “the dog ate Lois Lerner’s hard drive” isn’t a good enough excuse to not release what must obviously be really incriminating emails considering the Obama administration’s battle-hardened commitment to this particular giant lie?
NO duh.
That’s right. We’re going back to middle school in the 1980s on this one. No duh.
Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh.
How is anyone even remotely shocked by this “stunning revelation”? Is that even physically possible to be shocked by this?
But of course, now the government is claiming the database would be “too onerous” to search. (Begging the question, then why do they even have a backup system at all if it’s too hard for them to search through it?)
Give everyone a break.
The only thing that could make this even more ridiculous is if it came to light that one of the Department of Justice lawyers defending the IRS worked at the IRS in the IRS Exempt Organizations Division at the time the scandal was taking place, which would be a huge conflict of interest!
OH WAIT, THAT HAPPENED TOO.
The whole IRS targeting of conservative religious and tea party groups, the subsequent fallout when it came to light, and the federal government’s RIDICULOUS response to it are like a bad movie with a poorly written script that is so completely awful, it’s amazing anyone can stomach it for longer than five minutes, let alone be even remotely convinced by it in any way.
Things like this only prove brainwashing works…and works well.
