John Perkins is a leading authority on shamanism and institutional transformation. He is is a founder and board member of Dream Change and The Pachamama Alliance. New York Times and international best-selling author of books including Shapeshifting, The World Is As You Dream It, Psychonavigation, The Stress-Free Habit, Spirit of the Shuar, Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, and Hoodwinked. A graduate of Boston University’s School of Business Administration, he served in the Peace Corps in the late 1960s and as United States Representative to the United Nations’ International Atomic Energy Agency in the 1970s. He also served as chief economist at the international consulting firm Chas. T. Main, where he worked directly with heads of state and CEOs of major companies. He has advised the World Bank, the United Nations, Fortune 500 corporations, and countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. He discusses the consciousness of plants and their messages for our world in crisis.
