Reporter mistakes earplugs for rubber bullets, tweets pic

A Huffington Post reporter learned the hard way that everything you tweet is under scrutiny after mistaking a couple of earplugs for rubber bullets Sunday morning.
Reporter Ryan J. Reilly, who was arrested in Ferguson, Missouri, Wednesday night while covering protests, tweeted a photo of a four orange earplugs atop what appears to be asphalt.
“I believe these are rubber bullets, can anyone confirm?” Reilly tweeted. He later “retracted” his statement and issued a brief apology for his mistake.
