Whether Edward Snowden will get an extension to his asylum in Russia or not, no one knows yet, but he has surely stricken another blow to the terrorist-supporting American government.
In a recent article published on The Intercepter, Glenn Greenwald, a former Guardian reporter, has made available a new document that shows how much responsibility the United States government bears for the murder of innocent civilians in Gaza.
Not only has the United States government provided firepower to the Israeli regime, but the NSA has also provided intelligence for the government in Tel Aviv to carry out its genocide campaign in the Middle East.
“The single largest exchange between NSA and ISNU is on targets in the Middle East which constitute strategic threats to US and Israeli interests,” the leaked paper reveals. The mutually agreed upon geographic targets include the countries of North Africa, the Middle East, the Persian Gulf, South Asia, and the Islamic republics of the former Soviet Union. Within that set of countries, cooperation covers the exploitation of internal governmental, military, civil and diplomatic communications; and external security/intelligence organizations,” reports Greenwald.
The Security Information Paper cited by Greenwald in his article is a document issued by National Security Agency (NSA), loudly parades “success stories” about direct and indirect American interventionism. This interventionism was more prevalent during the Bush administrations while the new conservatives maintained power in Washington.
After Bush left office, a new type of extremists, this time from the left, took over the war-mongering campaign. The left wing of the neoconservatives made sure that a proper supply of arms, intelligence and other resources continued to arrive in Israel and other dictatorial regimes such as Egypt and more recently Ukraine, where the United States has sent special forces to train the national guard.
The document dated April 19, 2013 can be seen here.
“The new documents underscore the indispensable, direct involvement of the US government and its key allies in Israeli aggression against its neighbors. That covert support is squarely at odds with the posture of helpless detachment typically adopted by Obama officials and their supporters,” says Greenwald.
According to the report, the United States dedicates a $1 billion budget to providing ammunition, such as the rockets used by Israel in its Iron Dome. The last time the United States sent weapons to Israel was just before Netanyahu began its assault on Gaza.
While the United States manages to arm the Israeli army, the American defense intelligence and its partner Mossad are key partners in a relationship where Americans provide the Israeli with the location of “geographic targets, including countries of North Africa, the Middle East, the Persian Gulf, South Asia, and the Islamic republics of the former Soviet Union”.
