Swords were once known as the quintessential weapon for a warrior. Today, they are just old relics held in museums around the world. Throughout time, technology has advanced and designs of swords havve changed, often fueling debates about which swords were the most deadly, durable, or unique. The question remains however, which swords were the most legendry of all? This top ten list seeks to answer this pressing question.

 

10. Godric Gryffindor Sword

Godric was a wizard of medieval times. He was one of the four founders of Hogwarts. He died after a long age. The Hogwarts School has a portrayed picture of Godric. The Harry PotterSword is hidden in a talking hat. The Gryffindor Sword only appears when a true Gryffindor is in need of it. Harry was the first student that pulled it out. He used the Sword of Gryffindor to kill the Salazar. This wizard Salazar was the main antagonist of the second movie: Chamber of Secrets. After this incident, the School Authorities kept the Godric Gryffindor Sword in the Dumbledore’s office.

9. Lobera

The Lobera sword, used by Saint Ferdinand III of Castile, was the symbol of power. He usedit instead of the more traditional rod, and so he was always depicted with orb and sword in hand. The word Lobera is a Spanish word meaning wolfslayer.

8. Seven-Branched Sword

This is also one of the famous deadly swords of early times. This most famous sword was 74.9 cm long and it was made of iron, this sword with six branches-like protrusions beside the central blade, which is 65.5 cm. It is ranked at 8th number in the list of top ten famous & deadly swords in the world. This most famous sword was residential for ceremonial purposes and was not built for the battle and many famous statements were mentioned on the sword. This sword was made of hundred time’s hardened steel. It was appropriate for the polite Duke King. Now this sword is not displayed for people and it was considered the sign of power at that time.

7. Sword of Goujian

Discovered in 1965 in Hubei Province, China, this deadly sword is a beautiful example of Chinese metallurgy.King Goujian of Yue, who reigned between 496 BCE and 465 BCE, allegedly used this sword during the last major struggle between Yue and We where he paved the way to victory. King Goujian was known for using an unusual war tactic: sending prisoners out in the front lines of battle to commit suicide by decapitation in order to strike fear into his enemies. The Sword of Goujian is not without its own unusual characteristics either – this sword has barely seen rust in over 2,000 years..

EI Said was a famous king of early times and his sword was famous all over the world. Due to his sword he becomes the successful leader and military officer. It is ranked at 6th number inthe list of top ten famous & deadly swords in the world. He was also the chief general of an army and become the hero of his nation. His sword was his most valuable assets of his life and he keeps his sword with him. He was strong swordsman and has strong fighter. He uses his sword many times in his life, but the most famous is Colada and Tizona, in these two wars he uses his sword against Moors and defeats them. After his death now his sword is displayed in the national museums of Spain.
