~~Ephesians 6:12-13 says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand.”(KJV)
Whether we realize it or not, we as Christians are involved in the battle. There is no neutral ground. Unfortunately, most are on the sidelines oblivious to what is going on. It’s too easy to get distracted by and caught up in what we see and feel in the physical realm, but we have to remember that the true battle is in the spiritual realm. The weapons of our warfare are not physical, but spiritual.
We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. We have a sword which is the word of God. Our shield of faith blocks the fiery darts of the enemy. Many Christians walk around in a defeated state because they are not equipping themselves for the battle. They’re weak because they are starving spiritually. When is the last time you feasted upon the word of God? Do you open your bible on Sunday and then let it sit and collect dust the other six days of the week?
Remember, when satan came at Jesus in the desert, Jesus did not lash out at him physically. He spoke the word of God to him in every temptation that satan brought to him.
Children of God, the days are getting darker and we have to ensure that we are fully armed in the Spirit and ready to fight. I read a lot of articles about prepping and getting guns, but the most important thing to do is to prepare spiritually for what is coming upon us in the days ahead. It is imperative that you stand in the gap for your loved ones and abide in the secret place of the Most High.
