This is a weapon that hit Gaza recently. Can anyone identify what this weapon is?
I is very possible that a supply of rockets was hit directly…..
Special Forces in South Africa used this. I’ve seen it myself, handled it myself. It’s devastating and burns the hell out of anything, everything and anybody in close proximity. During military combat operations in Fallujah, Iraq, white phosphorus munitions were used by United States military forces as an incendiary weapon and as an obscurant. The United States denied allegations that white phosphorus was used as a weapon against civilians, stating that it was only used to target insurgents.
So yes, another crime committed by Barrack Hussein Obama aka Barry Gay Obama and his corrupt government. Shall we blame this on Russia as well?

White phosphorous. At least that is what it brings to mind. Some type of burning weapon.
Yep white phosphorus. Banned by the UN. But this is Israel they get a free pass on everything including nukes. Can’t charge them with war crimes in the UN because the US sits on the Security Council and will always stop any attempt to punish Israel for what its done. Maybe Turkey will change the dynamics once its humanitarian ships show up at Gaza.
yes the humanitarian ships that bring in the rockets to fire at Israel. the explosion looked like a rocket that hit a stock pile of rockets and they exploded.
White phosphorous, we have used it in Iraq.
Definitely ground-detonating white phosphorous. Most-likely (from the size of the blast) a 198mm (or larger) artillery round. Normally, these shells are air-burst, sometimes even for night illumination. Using them as anti-personnel ground-based artillery is a BIG no-no.

I don’t care what weapons Israel uses as long as it wipes out Hamas!! Hamas is a terrorist organization, so who the hell cares how they are dealt with? Whose side are you on?
I assume that before making such a statement you have thoroughly researched the subject and listened to all points of view, and absorbed every piece of information you could find, in order to not simply be spouting propaganda you have heard from a limited exposure to a heavily corporatized and privately owned news network or a variety of ignorant and hateful individuals.

Yes, this is a white phosphorus bomb. They usually explode in the air above populated areas, in order to achieve maximum coverage, and so no one can run away. This one appears simply to have exploded on the ground. It could be considered a miss of sorts.
White phosphorus bombs are manufactured in the US. They are designed specifically to inflict suffering — not simply death — but extreme suffering. The US pays Israel to buy, use, and test these weapons.
The effect of being hit with even a small amount of burning white phosphorus is to have a burning goo stuck on your body, which cannot be removed, wiped off, or neutralized. It burns and burns until it burns itself out by consuming whatever it lands on. It is most effective on human flesh, because it sticks to organic material. It mars but does not destroy buildings. It is designed specifically to produce extreme human suffering.
All countries have banned this as a weapon — EXCEPT the US and Israel.

Yes….every tax paying American citizen gets a white phosphorus bomb as a refund with each purchase that involves any payment of any form of tax…….We have so many that we just have them lying around the house…..kinda like those plastic bags you get when you buy something…we really need to recycle them….
I’d say it’s white phosphorous. If that’s true than Israel has committed a definite war crime. White phosphorous is outlawed by all nations. I’m only speculating of course because you’d have to be there and inspect the site to be positive.
It would probably be Hamas not Israel that would use it. It’s not Israel that cuts everyones heads off but they get blamed for everything anyway.

Can’t help but wonder how many of the people claiming this is White Phosphorus and howling about the US and Israel using it would feel if Hamas were using it against Israel or in attacks within the US against civilians. Can’t help but think said folks would be deliriously happy.

Looks like white phosphorus, banned in all countries but not Israhell it seems.
Could be exploding ordinance? By outward appearance it is likely a very high temp phosphorous/magnesium/aluminum containing device intended to ignite ordinance (shells, rockets, explosive charges, etc). such a device could(?) badly degrade most metal containments, manholes, armored shelters, etc.
