~~There’s usually excitement surrounding an engagement. They newly betrothed couple are on cloud nine dreaming about and looking forward to their future together. There are parties, dinners and get togethers with friends and family; lots of planning and before you know it, the big day has arrived. The bride to be especially wants that day to be perfect in every way. This inspires her to be extremely discriminating with every particular detail. The reception must be exquisite with the finest cuisine (or at least those of us on a tight budget may have dreamed of this), the flowers perfect, and everything in place.
Then there’s the dress. The bridal gown must be beyond perfect. Many future brides go to great lengths to ensure that they look ravishing on that day. There are some that try on hundreds of gowns until the perfect one is found. Even then, there are alterations that have to be made to ensure that the look and fit on the bride to be is perfect. Once the gown is made perfect, the future brides does everything in her power to ensure that the dress stays that way. It would be totally unacceptable for her to show up in a dress with stains, tears, or wrinkles in it.
