Former SAS Soldier: It’s Unlikely We’ll Try and Rescue ISIS Hostages. Here’s Why.

ISIS hostages are at the top of the news agenda at the moment, so why isn’t more being done to free them, or to try and eradicate Islamic State as a whole? Former SAS soldier Robin Horsfall was interviewed at the NATO summit and gave his thoughts. He thinks Britain’s best chance to secure the release of an aid worker being held by ISIS is through diplomatic pressure rather than a military operation. He also says that people who voluntarily put themselves in a war zone cannot expect others to risk their lives when they get into trouble.
