Islamic State militants, who once relied on wealthy Persian Gulf donors for money, have become a self-sustaining financial juggernaut, earning more than $3 million a day from oil smuggling, human trafficking, theft and extortion, according to U.S. intelligence officials and private experts.

$3 million a day is chicken feed; just because they can sell oil does not mean they can process it into fuel. It costs about $9 per gallon for petrol, what petrol and diesel is consumed by ISIS is being smuggled in from Turkey, Saudi at extreme costs and those looted Iraqi tanks and Humvees are extremely thirsty. Close the borders and wait. Soon they will all become pedestrians and the Caliphate will collapse into its orginal bandits.
