Illegal Israeli settlers are in fact “digging their own grave” by grabbing more of the land the entire international community knows is Palestinian, an analyst writes in a column for Press TV.
In an article published on the Press TV website on Monday, Kevin Barrett slammed as “shameless” an Israeli plan to seize hundreds of hectares of Palestinian land in the occupied West Bank, saying Israelis are making a “fatal mistake” by pursuing such “viciously extremist policies.”
“Ironically, by burrowing into the land of Palestine like aggressively parasitical vermin, the genocidal Zionist settlers are digging their own grave…and the grave of the so-called state of Israel,” Barrett wrote.
In late August, Israeli military sources announced that about 400 hectares of land at the settlement of Gevaot in the southern city of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank were “declared as Israeli land.”
