Kevin Spacey gets his hands dirty for ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ (VIDEO)
Video games are quickly outpacing other forms of media when it comes to the entertainment business so it shouldn’t be too surprising to hear that the team behind “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare” has big names in mind to voice their prominent characters.
Kevin Spacey was at the top of the list to portray Jonathan Irons, the man pulling the strings of Atlas, the world’s largest PMC in their fictional future setting. Spacey worked with the developers to create a more perfect Irons, re-writing the character and some of the game to make things spark.
After a wide-scale terrorist attack cripples nations around the world, Irons leads the charge in the War on Terror with his massive private military forces. Gamers play as Jack Mitchell, an ex-Marine turned contractor with Atlas.
The question remains, when one person is in charge, what do they do with their authority? We’ll have to wait and see when Advanced Warfare is released.
