Messi Shares Childhood Photo With Facebook Fans
A childhood photo of FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has received tens of thousands on Facebook, a Spanish sports magazine reported.
The photo showing the formidable Argentine striker as a small child dressed as a fireman was liked more than 482,000 times and commented on by 7,000 individuals whose remarks ranged from adulation to those making fun of his appearance.
Messi was wearing a fake moustache with his firefighter outfit and accompanied by a young girl in doctor’s garb who may have been his sister.
The photo caption reads “Messi’s first job.”
One of those who commented on the Facebook page said that the moustache made Messi look like Hitler and many asked about the girl in the picture.
Online magazine Mundo Deportivo said the photo was taken from an album available through a charity that Messi sponsors.
