Robird Peregrine Falcon Test Flight

This movie shows the Robird Peregrine Falcon model flying in strong winds of 6 Bft.
During this test, we had significantly changed the center of gravity of the Robird to make it able to remain “praying” in the wind as if it were a Common Kestrel. The test is a success, although the model only achieves this kind of flight for a short period of time since the aerodynamic properties of the Robird Peregrine are different from that of a Kestrel.
That being said, this short movie shows the capabilities of the Robird to cope with strong winds.
