Scotland overwhelmingly rejects independence

Although the results for independence were not what I would have liked to see, I am quite sure the fact that almost half (45%) of the Scots voted for independence, will resonate throughout the UK for a long time. What will happen as a result? We shall see.

Scotland overwhelmingly rejects independence

The Yes campaign is roundly defeated with 55 per cent of Scotland voting to remain in the 307-year-old Union.
