You’re Not Crazy (You’re On the Narrow Path)
~~I’m writing about this subject because as a follower of Jesus, I have plenty of experience with it. From time to time, I run across others who are experiencing the same thing and I want this to be an encouragement to them. You may have been accused of being narrow minded or a bigot because of your beliefs. You may be accused of being a dooms day prophet or a conspiracy theorist for talking about the end times. You’re not alone, and no, you’re not crazy or less than anyone else. You just don’t fit in and there’s a good reason for it. You’re following the path that Jesus set out for us to be on, the narrow one. So when folks call you narrow minded, take it as a compliment. Jesus shows us in Matthew 3:13-14 (KJV), “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” So the next time you’re accused of being intolerant or hateful for standing for the truth, keep this in mind and thank God that you don’t fit in.
