Come Into the Refiner’s Fire

~~Gold is a very pliable metal. In its purest form it is very soft and moldable.
In its natural form there are almost always traces of other metals and in order to get rid of these unwanted elements, it has to be refined. The purification process is to extract those other metals and remove impurities so that the end product is pure gold. This makes it more valuable. There are several ways to refine gold but one of the best ways is to put it through fire to burn out the impurities.
We can compare the mixed gold with our present lives. We all have some element(s) that are not pleasing to God and need to be extracted. The refinement process for the extraction represents the trials and tribulations in our lives. Hopefully when we are put into these situations instead of fussing or complaining, we ask God, “What are you wanting to teach me or work out of me?”
