NEW YORK – An unnamed employee of Alcon, a local Fort Worth company, was placed in observation at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas because he had contact with Nina Pham, the nurse who developed Ebola caring for the Liberian who died of the disease.
An email from Alcon to all employees dated Monday indicates the move was precautionary, as the Alcon employee has not yet shown any symptoms of Ebola, reported the local CBS and NBC affiliates in Dallas.
