Individual Responsible: Jason Chopek
Responsible Party’s Place of Employment: Winnipeg Police
Jason Chopek uses police data bases at work for his own personal use to ‘check out people.’ Jason has admitted to checking out all of his neighbors in Royal Wood. Jason took it upon himself to access data bases to check out a friend of mine. Jason in that process, also looked into my friend’s ex and her kids with who my friend has had no contact with in almost a decade.
He has been known to bring home and consume alcohol seized while on duty and drive around the city in his personal vehicle with open liquor in the car.
The Manitoba Privacy Commission is now aware of Jason’s actions. A complaint has also been made with a file generated at the Winnipeg Police Professional Conduct Unit, accessible by Jason’s superiors and the Police Chief.
Jason, you can’t go access a police data base unlawfully. Get a life and grow up!
