You are always being exposed to new and different energies. Your gratitude acts as an energetic sorting tool, clearly indicating what your preferences are.

You see, the universe does not work with negatives. It only understands where your focus is as an indicator of what you wish to continue in your life, and what you are choosing to energetically anchor into your existence. Gratitude, because of its lovely, supportive energy, simply put, is a positive focus tool, which can only bring more of the energies you appreciate.
