People in Britain must not ‘panic’ about the NHS coping with Ebola cases despite the global outbreak being out of control, the Defence Secretary warned today.
Michael Fallon said there was no need for ‘hysteria’ as he admitted it would be several months before the spread of the deadly virus can be halted.
But he faced down growing calls for Britain to start screening air passengers arriving from the affected West African countries, where 3,900 people have already died.
