(Before It's News)

Good morning and welcome to the month of October. Here is an updated look at the visible solar disk on Wednesday. Solar activity remains low. Decaying region 2175 is now set to rotate onto the west limb and out of direct Earth view. Regions 2172 and 2173, also currently in a gradual decay trend, have been producing minor C-Flares as they approach the west limb.

All other visible regions, including 2177 and 2178, remain stable. An isolated M-Flare will be a possibility during the next 24 hours. A coronal mass ejection (CME) is visible this morning following an eruption beyond the southeast limb. It is not Earth directed and should have no impact on our geomagnetic field.

Also in today’s report we have Hot Headlines for October 1, 2014
