Putin has 88% approval rating – poll

MOSCOW. Oct 29 (Interfax) – Pollsters have said 88% respondents in a poll on October 24-27 expressed approval of President Vladimir Putin's activities.
The Levada Center opinion studies group told Interfax that Putin's approval ratings as based on surveys in September and January stood at 86% and 65% respectively.
The group said 11% of respondents in October's poll were dissatisfied with Putin compared with 14% in September and 34% in January.
Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev's performance had 68% approval in October's survey compared with 71% in September and 48% in January …. http://www.interfax.com
