(Before It's News)

SONY DSCTaking too many cough drops can negatively impact your recovery time from a nasty cold. With that in mind, it seems almost pointless to even use them. They never quite do the trick anyway. But with this easy-to-make sore throat remedy, we hope you’ll be feeling better in no time. Let’s get to it:

You will need:

  • 2-3 lemons
  • Ginger
  • Honey

Basic enough, right? To start with, chop the lemons and ginger into small pieces. The amount of ginger you use is up to you. Ginger can have some heat to it, so you may want to use a little bit to start and add more later as you need it. Fill the jar with honey and place in the fridge. When chilled, it will turn into a jelly.

When you feel your sore throat getting bad, take a tablespoon of the jelly and pour into a mug of hot water. The jelly will melt and form a tea.

All of us here at Higher Perspective hope you get better soon! Stay well.
