10. CIA wiretaps Angela Merkel
It seems as if the CIA has been spying on German Chancellor, Angela Merkel via mobile phonefor years. The revelation came in 2013 after the whole Edward Snowden fiasco. Merkel was so inferiorited that she immediately called President Obama and asked for an explanation. Obama did not specify whether they did or did not spy on Merkel but he did say that it has stopped. Now, the German government is investigating this incident. What will happen to U.S. & German relations? We shall wait and see.
9. Churchill planned to execute Hitler
Sir Winston Churchill, the Prime Minister of Great Britain during WWII, had plans to execute Hitler in the electric chair should the Nazi leader have fallen into Allied hands. He was opposed to theNuremberg war crimes trials. Documents later revealed that he was also hoping that Mahatma Gandhi would starve himself to death during the hunger strikes of 1943. His wish came true when Gandhi was assassinated, but not before India gained its independence from Great Britain in 1949.
8. Churchill and UFOs
If you are British History major or even a studier of Modern Europe, you probably heard of Winston Churchill. Perhaps more information than what you’ve read in the last post. I bet, however, that you did not know about his cover-up of a UFO sighting. It was revealed in 1999 by one of PM bodyguards that Churchill, during WWII, ordered the 50 year classification of an encounter between an RAF aircraft and a mysterious flying object.
7. Hollywood’s many leading men were closeted homosexuals
We’re not speaking of Robert Reed from the Brady Bunch. The list of closeted homosexual Hollywood stars is extensive and they include Randolph Scott, Cary Grant, Rock Hudson, Alec Guinness, Marlon Brando, Lawrence Olivier, and Freddie Mercury to name a few. Marlon Brando once admitted to having some homosexual encounter, but never revealed with whom.
6. The U.S. Government reading our emails
It was recently reported by the Guardian that the NSA was reading over our emails. The agency has direct access to Gmail, Hotmail, Facebook, Apple, and other U.S. internet giants through a program called Prism.
