(Before It's News)

Some streets in the world are downright terrifying while the rest are scenic and simply amazing to look at and drive through. If you ever get the chance, take a drive on one of these top 10 scenic roads and mark them down on your bucket list.

10. Gravity Hills

Gravity hills can be seen in many parts of the world. Those who have been on such streets will know that if you park your vehicle at its foot, an illusion will be created and you believe that the caror bike is actually going up the hill! One of my favorite routes is the the “Magnet Hill”, which is located on the Leh-Kargil-Srinagar national highway, about 30 km from Leh, at a height of 11,000 feet above sea level.

9. Ebenezer Place

This street can be found Scotland and is renowned for being the shortest in the world as it is only 6.8 feet long. Naturally, there is only one house on this tiny street which was constructed in 1883  – a  hotel. The city requested that the hotel owner put a sign up on the tip of his establishment that would allow people to navigate the strange intersection and thus the six foot, nine inch strip of sidewalk outside the hotel was dubbed 1 Ebenezer Place. Mackay’s Hotel still sits on the spot, but the door now leads to the hotel’s eatery.

8. Pan-American Highway

The Pan-American Highway is a series of routes that passes through Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama in North America, and Colombia, Ecuador,Peru and Chile in South America. It is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest motorable road in the world. There are several modes of travel that are used on the Pan-American Highway. It is possible to use buses down all the way to Argentina, except for the Darien Gap.

7. Parliament Street

Parliament Street in England is said to be the narrowest of its kind in the world. It measures about 25 inches and is 50 meters in terms of length and has been around since the 1300s.

6. Road to Giza

Giza is well-known for being thee part of Cairo that is closest to the world-famous Pyramids of Giza, situated high on the desert plateau immediately to the west of the urban district. The pyramids are located in the valley and are centred around the Pyramids Road, linking central Cairo with the ancient wonders. One of the premier attractions of Egypt, if not the world.  The Road to Giza is mesmerizing because it is about 46,000 years old which makes it the oldest paved street in the world. It stretches across 7.5 miles and was initially used for the movement of basalt from one location to another.
