Americans could take a lesson from the protestors in Hong Kong.
As our current election process stands…..those who have the right of raising political donations (Congress) amounts to approximately 0.02% of our population deciding WHO will be able to run for office and raise donations.
Notice the recurrence of the word donations. This means that everyone who donates to a candidate also gets to put in a “Word” about what “They” expect from each candidate should they donate to their campaign. This means each candidate is “Bought and paid For” before the process ever begins.
Until the election process is completely changed…..and special interest lobbies are no longer able to buy politicians…..then our Politicians will never be free to vote for bills un-bullied by those who donate ……nor will the democratic process prevail.
